YOCOYA

Yocoya is an artisanal rug vendor based in Oaxaca, Mexico. The brand aims to connect indigenous rug-makers with a wider audience. The design was created with these handmade qualities and traditions in mind. The brand already had stamp-like graphics and a logo created by a local artist. However, the assets lacked cohesion and brand direction. I was tasked to create a guide using the cactus and its fruit, tuna, as inspiration.
